Making a sale can be hard, so it’s very important that when approaching a customer, you have the right attitude and you believe in what you’re selling. A customer will know if you are a genuine person who believes that what you are selling is for them and can make a difference. The myth that people don’t like to receive unsolicited calls is exactly that – a myth – with 83% of people saying that they don’t remind receiving a sales call. Most of the time it depends on how you speak to the customer when they answer the phone, and if you play your cards right, you can make a good sale. It’s also important to remember that 60% of prospects will say ‘no’ 5 times before they say ‘yes’, so it’s vital to not give up and give the customer all the reasons you have to buy what you have to sell.

I can’t believe that 44% of salespeople give up after 1st no. Interesting that it can take over 5 tries too. Love the infograph!
